Description
Ashby Leisure Centre & Lido is home to the only outdoor lido in Leicestershire, located in the market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch. First opened in 1929 and recently refurbished, the heated outdoor pool is the perfect place for families to enjoy the summer. With plenty of space to swim, splash, or relax by the poolside, it’s a great spot for fun and leisure.
Alongside the lido, the centre offers a modern gym with the latest equipment, indoor pools, and a wide range of group fitness classes. Families can also enjoy a four-court sports hall, 3G floodlit football pitches, squash courts, and a skate park. A new “Ashby-by-the-Sea” sandpit with a climbing frame and a refreshed catering hub add even more family-friendly appeal.
Swimming sessions are available from £5.60 for adults and £3.58 for juniors, with memberships for gym and wellness starting from £42.49 per month. The outdoor pool can also be hired for private parties and events.
With its unique lido, extensive facilities, and welcoming atmosphere, Ashby Leisure Centre & Lido is a standout destination for health, fitness, and summer fun. Whether you’re there to swim, train, or celebrate, it’s a place where the whole family can enjoy time together.
