  • Spring at the Barbican: Sun 1 Feb—Sun 31 May 2026. As we look forward to spring, we spotlight ideas of land, lineage and the handing down of artistic traditions. Colombian women artists and musicians draw inspiration from the rich traditions and history of their country, with the first UK retrospective of painter Beatriz González and a large-scale outdoor commission from Delcy Morelos later in the spring. 
  • Exhibitions: Beatriz González. 25 Feb – 10 May. The first UK retrospective of the iconic Colombian artist, whose bold work explores the power and impact of the images we encounter every day.
  • Music: Ice and Fire. 18 Feb - 21 Mar. A season of music and film inspired by Iceland. Expect dark, cinematic soundscapes, volcanic drama and glacial beauty from an island erupting with talent and creativity.
  • Cinema: The Old Ways. 22 Mar – 16 May. A selection of documentaries celebrating craft traditions from around the world - from foraging for plants for natural dyes; making ceremonial candles in Mexico; quilting in Alabama; and a rare Romanian mushroom craft.
  • Theatre: Scene Change: 20 Jan – 12 Apr. A season of transformative performances and gatherings in unexpected places, featuring world-renowned companies.
  • Young Creatives: Young Barbican Takeover Festival 2026, Sun 29 Mar. Live music, workshops, a makers market and more curated for and by London's emerging creatives.

  • Bike: Cycle racks are available at the entrance to Car Park 5 and exit to Car Park 3, which are accessible from inside the Beech Street tunnel. There are also additional bike racks on Silk Street and Golden Lane.
  • Train: Liverpool Street: 11 min walk. Farringdon: 8 min walk.
  • Bus: The bus route that stops closest to the main Centre is the 153, alight at the Silk Street stop. The 4 and 56 also stop at Barbican tube station.
