  • Camperdown Park: Situated just 3 miles from Dundee city centre, off Kingsway West (A90), Camperdown Country Park is the largest public park in Dundee. With the stunning neo-classical Camperdown House as its centre-piece, the park covers an area of over 400 acres, and is home to no fewer than 190 species of trees. One of the most popular parks in Dundee, among locals and visitors alike, Camperdown is open all year round and offers a fantastic range of activities and events.
  • Camperdown House: Designed by the architect William Burn, and built by the Duncan family in 1828, the House was named after the Battle of Camperdown. It was at this battle that Admiral Adam Duncan, the Dundee-born naval hero, triumphed over the Dutch fleet in 1797. Camperdown Park is now part of the National Tree Collections of Scotland. This recognises the highest quality specimen tree collections in the country and is coordinated by Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. In celebration of this achievement, a Camperdown Tree Trail has been produced. The trail highlights the park’s notable trees and provides interesting information on the park’s arboricultural history.   • Play Complex: The Camperdown Play Complex, situated near the Wildlife Centre, features a state-of-the-art play area with pieces of play equipment to suit different age groups. Slides, climbing nets and suspension bridges are all located around a crow's nest, creating a pirate-ship theme.
