Dinton Pastures Country Park is a 350-acre country park, situated in the heart of Wokingham. It is an oasis of woodland, meadow, and lakes in the midst of the most urbanised part of the Thames Valley. The Country Park consists of multiple lakes, ponds, rivers, and streams, with footpaths and meadow to explore. The Country Park is accessible 365 days of the year, with car parks open every day. We are part of Wokingham Borough Council and manage California and Dinton Pastures Country Parks, and approximately thirty other countryside parks and nature reserves.

Play Park
This play space has been designed by Davies White Ltd Landscape Architects to be non-prescriptive and to connect children with nature. The emphasis is on tactile and sensory play and there are many design features that have been thought through to increase access to the play features.Giant nest towers, monkey bars, funnel trap nests, secret hobbit holes and giant swinging and climbing logs are some of the exciting features of our hugely popular play park.
Nature Buggies
Nature Buggies are the perfect way to view Dinton Pastures Country Park. You can find them at the field opposite the main play park as you cross the bridge.
Disc golf
The object of the game is to throw a disc (a type of frisbee) from a starting point to a hole (a metal basket) in as few throws as possible. Dinton is proud to host one of the few 18-hole permanent disc golf courses in England. The course was installed in 2016 and was paid for by Berkshire Disc Golf Club (a group of local volunteers who love disc golf!) The course is located on public access grassland adjacent to the main lake and you can access it from either the Dragonfly Café or Dinton Activity Centre.
