Located in Pendeen, only twenty minutes from Penzance and St Ives. Geevor Tin Mine is located in the village of Pendeen, 7 miles west of Penzance. The mine is easily reached from Penzance, St. Ives or Lands End by car or bus. The venue is an hour’s drive from Newquay, 30 minutes’ drive from St Ives and 15 minutes’ drive from Penzance. 

By Road

  • From Penzance: Take the A30 Penzance bypass, then follow the A3071 to St Just. Continue and fork right onto the B3318 to Pendeen. At the crossroads, turn left through Pendeen, then right at the Geevor main entrance.
  • From Land’s End / St Just: Take the B3306 to St Just. Continue towards Pendeen – Geevor is located around 3 miles along the north coast road.
  • From St Ives: Enjoy the scenic B3306 coast road through Zennor and Morvah to Pendeen.

By Bus: Visitors who arrive by bus can receive a 10% discount on admission.

  • From Penzance: Take the 17 bus and ask for Geevor Tin Mine.
  • From St Just: Use the 17 or, during summer, the A3 service.
  • From St Ives: Use the 17 or the seasonal A3 open-top bus (summer only).
  • The A3 bus stops directly at Geevor’s entrance during summer.
  • The PZS007 community service is also available to all passengers.
