The Hayward Gallery is an art gallery within the Southbank Centre in central London, England and part of an area of major arts venues on the South Bank of the River Thames. It is sited adjacent to the other Southbank Centre buildings and also the National Theatre and BFI Southbank repertory cinema.

Facilities

  • Parking: We have four free Blue Badge parking spaces available for visitors, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The spaces are located on the Queen Elizabeth Hall slip road (between the Royal Festival Hall and Hayward Gallery). Make sure you display your Blue Badge as you enter; vehicles that do not display a Blue Badge are refused entry.
  • Food & drink: Offering sandwiches, salads, cakes and coffee, Hayward Gallery Cafe is the perfect spot for a pre-exhibition energy boost or a post-visit drink.

  • Travelling by car or taxi: There is a drop-off on the slip road outside Southbank Centre Square. We encourage travel by public transport as parking in the local area is very restricted.
  • Travelling by bike: Our bicycle parking is located in Southbank Centre Square, off Belvedere Road.
