Guided tours of Himley Hall
Discover the fascinating history behind the Borough's historic 'Jewel in the Crown' - the countless royal visitors and an insight into the life and times of Himley Hall.Visitors may participate in specially organised guided tours of the Hall that take them through unseen rooms, from the Servants Quarters to the Ballroom, from the Butler’s sitting room to the Earl of Dudley’s bedrooms! Visitors can also see the refurbished North Wing complete with Art Deco style Swimming Pool Room and Cinema Bar.

Fishing
Some fishing platforms are designed for disabled persons. For details of access through the barrier to the Great Pool contact the Park Warden. Himley Park operates a fishing syndicate. Membership is restricted to people who are over the age of 18 and who live in Dudley borough. At the present time there is a 3-4 year waiting list for membership.

Himley park Playground
In summer 2021 they asked for your views about installation of a new playground in the grounds, as it had been identified that the park does not have a dedicated area for children. They are proposing to extend our offer for visitors with children by building a child’s play area, toilet facilities and a small catering facility on the Capability Brown landscaped gardens.
