Mill Green Museum is a working watermill in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England. Our 18th Century restored working watermill is a remarkable piece of machinery. It harnesses the power of the river Lea to grind grain into flour and is part of a 1,000 year history of milling on this site.
Visit us to see the mill in action and our Miller will explain more about this ancient craft, exploring how wheels and cogs, big and small, work together to move grain through the mill stones to turn it into flour.
