Lessons: If you’re new to snow sports, we provide expert lessons to help you feel confident and comfortable on our slopes. We’ve created a range of specially designed lessons that will teach you the core skills to skiing and snowboarding. We will then teach you how to develop your newly found skills and help you refine and perfect your technique. On your first lesson, you’ll be shown how to put your boots on, how to move around on your skis or board, and will start sliding down the slope. Whether you’re on a taster, private lesson or Ladies Night, the top priority is making sure you’re comfortable and having fun!
Tubing: At Newmilns Ski Slope, tubing—also known as sledging in a rubber ring—is fast, fun, and accessible to all ages with no experience required. A standard tubing session offers 50 minutes of slope time for £11.55, accommodating up to 20 people per session with helmets provided (runners or sturdy shoes recommended). For the festive season, the “Tubing with Elves” special (December only) adds hot chocolate and possibly a gift for £18.90, while a spooky Halloween-themed “Spooky Tubing” is also offered (price to be confirmed), both delivering 50 minutes of themed fun.
Holiday Camps: Newmilns offers all-day Holiday Ski & Snowboard Camps for school-aged children (7+) during major school breaks—Summer, October, Christmas, February, and Easter. Camps run for 2 or 3 full days from 10:00 to 15:00, combining structured ski or snowboard lessons, slope tubing, and fun games, all with a fixed daily rate starting at £42 per person. The daily itinerary includes registration, multiple lesson segments, a snack and lunch break, and a tubing session to finish off. Participants should bring a packed lunch, and a disclaimer form must be completed online prior to arrival.
