Northumberland Country Zoo is a family-friendly wildlife park home to over 80 species, from tiny Harvest Mice to majestic Snow Leopards. Located near Morpeth in Northumberland, it offers a fun and educational day out in a spacious and scenic environment. The zoo is open daily, including most bank holidays.

Visitors can enjoy walk-through enclosures like Lemur Woods and Wallaby Walkabout, as well as animal encounters and keeper talks in the Wild Theatre. Kids can explore the massive Adventure Land outdoor play zone or burn off energy in the Bear Falls indoor soft play. Animal experiences with otters, capybaras, lemurs and more are available to pre-book.

Admission prices are: Adults £16.50, Children £14.75, Seniors £15.25, and Under-2s go free. Birthday party packages and private animal experiences can also be arranged.

Outdoor Play: Adventure Land is a huge adventure trail where you can test your skills of getting around without touching the ground, featuring a tangle climb, slides & climbing nets.
Bear Falls Softplay: We have a custom-designed Bear Falls softplay where children of all ages can burn off some energy while you have a coffee in our cafe.
Wild Theatre: Join one of our keepers in the Wild Theatre where you can see and learn about some of our amazing animals in action - showcasing their natural behaviours.
Lemur Woods Walk-through: Join one of our keepers in our lemur walk-through to have the opportunity to get up close with our troop of Ring-tailed & Red Fronted Lemurs.
Wallaby Walkabout: Wander through our wallaby enclosure and get up close with our Bennett's wallabies and the smaller Parma wallabies. Open every day.
Animal Experiences: We offer a range of animal experiences with some of our most popular animals like otter, lemur, Capybara and many more.

Zoo is located 1 mile off the A1, 5 miles North of Morpeth & 12 miles South of Alnwick at Eshottheugh.
Look out for the yellow Zoo wagon that is parked at the end of our road on the side of the A1 when we are open.
Due to our remote location, public transport is not recommended.
