Cycling is also an option from Torquay, Brixham, and Paignton via the main routes and uphill via Preston Down Road. Walking or cycling is great for your health and the environment.

- Stagecoach No. 13 operates from Brixham through Kingsteignton via Paignton and Torquay. The closest drop-off is at Marldon Village, just a 5–10 minute walk to Occombe.
- Stagecoach Route 60 starts at Paignton Library and stops within Occombe’s car park, with multiple pick-up points along the way. The journey takes around 30 minutes and buses run hourly, on the hour and every half hour, Monday to Friday.
By Car: Occombe is well connected to local road networks and easy to find. Main entrances are just off Preston Down Road, with clear brown signs when approaching Paignton. From the A3022 / Hellevoetsluis Way, stay on the road until reaching the roundabout for Occombe Farm. Preston Down Road leads a short way up to the left-hand side. Parking: Free on-site parking is available across both car parks.
