Pots2Go Ceramic Café is an award-winning pottery painting studio and ceramic café located in the heart of Harrogate. It’s a creative and family-friendly venue where visitors of all ages can enjoy painting pottery, making bears, or even joining themed parties and workshops. The café offers more than 100 pottery items to paint, along with slime parties, foam clay sessions, and make-a-bear experiences. Families can also capture special memories with hand, foot, or even pet paw prints. With two spacious shop floors, hot and cold drinks, and handmade cakes, the venue provides a relaxed and inspiring environment.

There are no admission or studio fees, you only pay for the item you choose. Prices start at around £14 for small pots like coasters and tiles, with mugs and bowls from £20, plates from £19, and larger pieces like cookie jars or plant pots reaching £30–40.

Creativity on your doorstep: With over 100 items of pottery to paint and 13 tables across two shop floors, we are guaranteed to have the perfect item and time to suit your visit. Pottery prices start at around £15 for small plates, bowls and mugs, with plenty of smaller and bigger items to choose from, and there is no studio fee to paint!
Hand & Footprints: Capture your newborn’s tiny feet or the detail of your toddler's hands. We're here to help you treasure these memories forever. Our staff are experienced at getting excellent hand and footprint results onto our pottery and clay imprints.
Dog & Cat Paw Prints: We can also cater for dog and cat paw prints too! Paw prints are super popular, and for good reason! Immortalise your best friends forever! Well-behaved dogs are very welcome in the shop to do prints, and we can provide DIY pottery painting kits and full instructions as to how to capture your cats’ prints to do at home, and drop back into the shop at a later date!

There are no admission or studio fees, we simply charge you the price of the item you choose.
Prices start at around £14 for the smallest pots such as coasters and tiles, and go up to £30-40 for the largest bowls, plates, plant pots, large faceted animals and cookie jars.
There is a vast array from which to select, the most popular choices include mugs and bowls (from £20), plates (from £19) and trinket and money boxes in all shapes and sizes (from £20).

Pottery Painting: For Pottery Painting parties, each guest chooses from a selection of pottery which includes mermaids, unicorns, dragons, dinosaurs, princesses, dogs, bears, penguins, sloths, sharks, foxes, birds, narwhals and monsters etc. along with more functional pots such as bowls, mugs, plates or trinket boxes. Our deluxe pottery painting parties also offers the chance for children to paint from our piggy bank range, including unicorns, monsters, princesses, trains, tractors and more.
Foam Clay: Foam Clay is a popular option for those wanting to take their creations home on the day, as they don’t need glazing or firing in our kilns. Choose from the same range as Pottery Painting parties but decorate with foam clay, where there’s a choice of colours, glitter colours and glow-in-the-dark balls to decorate your pottery pieces.
Make-A-Bear: Make-A-Bear parties offer the choice of over 50 gorgeous, luxuriously soft and cuddly animals, to bring to life – a truly magical experience. Children hand-stuff the animals, choose and add a heart, write a birth certificate and take home their new best friend for life! Teddy T-shirt decorating with fabric pens is an additional option.
Slime: Every child’s dream – gloopy, messy fun where we clean up afterwards, no mess for you parents at home! Each child makes their own bowl of coloured slime to take home, with multi-coloured foam balls, glitter and Flubber Bubbles games! Airtight containers provided. Deluxe packages are available for mermaid sparkly slime and dinosaur slime!
Party Catering: All our party activities last an hour (with the exception of deluxe slime – 1 hour 30 minutes), followed by an optional half an hour of time to have some food and cake within the shop for a small additional cost. Pots2Go can provide catering for a small charge per child, you can bring your own, or pizza delivery is a popular option!
