  • Since its restoration in 2007 Reigate Priory park has become a popular destination park for many families living within Surrey. There is a fantastic children's play area with sand and water features and a huge wooden ship.

  • Priory Park is home to 13 bird species of national conservation concern, including Song Thrush, Kestrel and Kingfisher.
  • Birds commonly found on the lake include, Moorhen, Mallard, Coot and Canada Goose.
  • 330 species of insects and other invertebrates have been recorded in Priory Park. including15 species of butterfly, 92 species of beetle and 66 types of bee, wasp or ant.
  • There are at least six different types of bat in the Park, including the comparatively rare Serotine Bat.
  • Mammals you might spot include fox, Roe Deer, mole, grey squirrel, field vole and rabbit.
