In a relaxed and welcoming space, you can choose a blank pottery piece, paint your own design, and leave it to be glazed and fired, ready to collect within a week. Everything made is food, dishwasher, and microwave safe, though handwashing is recommended for longevity.

  • The Craft Pottery is a paint-your-own-pottery (PYOP) studio in Glasgow's city centre. Come and paint blank pottery pieces in a relaxed and creative environment. You leave your painted items with us at the studio, and return in about a week to pick up your fired (master)pieces. All fired items are food, dishwasher, and microwave safe (though we always recommend hand-washing for longevity). 
  • Pottery lessons: We offer classes/courses on the pottery wheel & hand-building for all ages in our sister studio, The Craft Pottery Studio (located just upstairs!). The Craft Pottery Studio, an independent pottery and teaching facility in Glasgow city centre. Our resident team of potters oversees classes, workshops, courses, events, and studio rentals. With diverse backgrounds in ceramics, our tutors aim to make learning accessible and enjoyable, offering traditional throwing techniques to modern hand-building approaches.

In Studio Events:

  • Book in for a 2 or 3 hour slot to paint pottery and use our BYOB policy to create a unique night enjoyed by all.
  • Available every day except Mondays - Late nights on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
  • We can sit groups from 1 person up to 80 people, No extra fee for bookings below 30 guests.
  • We have three available areas; Main Room - Can seat up to 45 (booking fee is applied to groups larger than 30 as the space is privately rented to your booking), Events Space - Can seat up to 32 (booking fee is applied to groups larger than 24 as the space is privately rented to your booking), Outdoor Area - Can privately be hired for groups of 8-10. 
  • The booking fee for 30+ guests is between £150-£250 depending on peak times and duration of your event.
