    • Joined by a loyal feline companion, Claws Monet, the Keeper maintains balance and protection within the collection. Young visitors are invited to become Keepers-in-training, helping the Keeper restore harmony when challenges arise.
    • Three different experiences are available with The Keeper of Paintings, offering interactive learning and adventure before, during, and after visiting the Gallery.
  • Roden Centre for Creative Learning: Aims to enrich lives and inspire learners of all ages to connect with the National Gallery’s paintings through creativity. Programmes are designed to encourage exploration, build understanding, and foster a lifelong passion for art.
  • Family Visits: Families can enjoy a dedicated creative space at weekends and during school holidays in the Roden Centre for Creative Learning, providing a welcoming area to connect, play, and explore favourite paintings. Visitors are also welcome to bring a packed lunch.
    • Self-Guided Groups: Groups of seven or more can pre-book a free self-guided visit to explore the collection independently.
