Perfect for families, friends and budding spies aged 6 to 106, the trail combines sightseeing with puzzle-solving challenges. It’s a great way to explore the town while completing a thrilling mission.
This 1.6-mile circular trail takes around 2 hours to complete at your own pace. Starting from Gander Lane, the route leads you through the High Street, across the river, along scenic riverside paths and through Victoria Gardens before finishing near the impressive Abbey. Along the way, you’ll solve clues hidden on buildings, monuments and permanent features to stop the evil plan of Dr Fats Ludge and crack the code to save the town from disaster. A text message hint service is available if you get stuck.
The trail costs £9.99 per booklet, and one booklet is recommended for a group of 4–5 people, making it a great value activity. Treasure Trails can also be used for birthday adventures, where teams explore the route, solve clues and compete to complete the mission together.
