Wight Climbing: We have the only indoor climbing wall on the Island which offers 7 climbing lines of 6 to 7 metres and has routes for both beginners and experienced climbers, including a traversing wall. Routes are set monthly and we welcome climber feedback on these to ensure the wall stays fresh and exciting. We have a range of sessions available including instructor led activity sessions for children and adults, private hire for independent climbers and coaching sessions for those of you wishing to hone your technical and or climbing skills. We also welcome group bookings.
Gym: Our gym has a range of fixed resistance machines, CV equipment, rig, Smiths machine, and free weights (barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, med balls, slam balls). Also available are TRX suspension trainer system, resistance bands, plyometric boxes, foam rollers, and other accessories which will ensure you can have a complete body workout. We offer a two-stage induction process – our phase one induction covers the health and safety aspects of the gym and an introduction to the CV equipment and fixed resistance machines. Our phase two induction covers the free weights equipment and provides you with the knowledge to carry out key movements with good technique.
Swimming: We are proud to offer two fantastic swimming pools, catering to all ages and abilities. Our 25-metre by 13-metre main pool follows the standard public pool size but stands out as the deepest on the Isle of Wight, reaching an impressive 3 metres at its deepest point. It is also the only pool on the Island with two diving boards! Ideal for young children, beginner swimmers, and hydrotherapy, our small pool is 0.8 metres deep throughout and measures 12 metres by 4.75 metres. Like our main pool, it is fully accessible, with steps and a hoist for those who need assistance. We also provide water toys for younger children to encourage confidence and development in the water.
