What to see

Westgate Gardens Tree Trail
The tree trail currently consists of ten trees, all within Westgate Gardens. In future it is hoped to extend the trail to include more trees, with at least some in all four sections of the Parks. At present it is unfortunately the case that the labels for all ten trees are now missing or damaged – they are working to restore these labels as soon as possible.There is a tree trail paper leaflet (one page of which is shown below, left), but currently this can only be obtained on special occasions, as the Friends now have no permanent base in the parks. They are looking to an online solution to overcome this difficulty.
