Selection Details :

Girls enter our Foundation Stage at age 3 when they join Nursery, and at age 4 move into our Reception classes. The vast majority of girls continue at Blackheath High into the Junior School

We offer the follwing main entry points into the school:

  • Nursery 3+
  • Reception 4+
  • Senior School 11+
  • Sixth Form 16+

 

3+ Entry Nursery

Admission is based upon an informal meeting with a member of our EYFS team. This takes place in our Nursery with the child and her parents in the Autumn term prior to our Sep Nursery intake. Interviews are offered in order of the applications that have been recieved. Girls must be aged 3 by the Aug 31 in order to enter a nursery class in the following Sep .

 

4+ Reception:  additional 8 Places

The majority of the Nursery girls progress from Nursery to Reception.  Parents may register their interest and they will be contacted durng Autumn term preceeding the Sep reception start date. There is an informal assessment for Reception Entry in January preceeding their Sep start date. Girls are invited into our Nursery setting and take part in various activities, this is a short visit and parents are not expected to stay. Parents will be notified in writing of the outcome of the assessment in two weeks.

 

7+ Entry and Occasional places in Years 1-6

There is a alimited number of places available. Gilrs are invited into school to sit assessments in Maths and English. 

 

Entry to Senior School at 11+ and 13+

Fees :

Senior School - £5,713 per term  ( £17,139 p.a)

Junior School - £4,664 per term  (£13,992  p.a)

Nursery - £3,630 per term  (£1890 p.a)

Scholarships :

We offer a range of scholarships and bursaries to girls who demonstrate excellent potential on entry to Year 7, Year 9 and Year 12 only.
