Reception
At Lincoln Minster School they put our pupils first, seeking to ensure that their talents and abilities are nurtured and encouraged to flourish in an environment of support and appreciation. This approach is demonstrated throughout every age range, with a curriculum designed to build the strong foundations for success in both academic and personal development.Learning at Lincoln Minster School is fun, exciting and inviting, with all children learning through playing and by doing. We offer a broad curriculum-linked through topics to provide opportunities for the children to extend experiences and further their learning and knowledge. Art, Drama, Music and Sport are key parts of the experience.

Preparatory
The Preparatory School, located just a short walk from our Senior School site, builds on the foundations established during Key Stage 1. They aim to provide a first-class education within a wonderfully dynamic and inspiring environment. They place an equal value on core, creative and technological subjects to provide a progressive curriculum, continually evolving to answer to the needs of modern society and encourage the development of crucial life skills including curiosity and self-motivation.

Senior School
At the Senior School, they specialise in finding the best in every pupil and place equal value on cultural, technological, scientific, linguistic and creative subjects. They pride ourselves on putting our pupils first seeking to ensure that their talents and abilities are nurtured and encouraged to flourish in an environment of support and appreciation.

Pop-in and Play
The pop-in and play sessions are perfect for parents with young children who wish to explore the school in a relaxed environment. The sessions give you and your child the first taste of life at Lincoln Minster School where your child can engage with the teachers, play with others and become comfortable with the school setting. Parents can use this as opportunity to speak with staff about the school or making an application, or simply to meet other parents.

Co-Curricular
Here at Lincoln Minster School, they have a wide range of co-curricular clubs and activities for pupils of all years to be involved in. These activities provide pupils with the opportunity to pursue a passion, explore their interests, stretch their imagination and develop new skills. Scheduled both within the school day and after school, we aim to ensure that our co-curricular offering is available at a time that suits most.

Art
Art facilities throughout the school are truly unique. From the well-equipped studio at the Preparatory School to our Senior School art studio overlooking the city, complete with a graphic design lab and photography studio.

Music
Pupils of all ages are encouraged to participate whether through playing, composing or attending concerts and recitals. Music is a key component of the school’s curriculum throughout all year groups. Whether it’s the Year 5/6 orchestra, strings ensemble, jazz band or Preparatory choir, the pupils are encouraged to fully involve themselves.As well as having a close relationship with the University of Lincoln music department, the school boasts a team of 13 peripatetic music teacher specialists, here to help each pupil to reach their aspirations.

Scholarships

Scholarships are offered at entry to Years 7, 9 and 12 for both exisiting pupils and external applicants. Applications are accepted in the November prior to entry with an assessment taking place the following January.
