The school is regarded as a beacon of academic excellence with outstanding success rates in National Tests and 11+ examinations.
Facilities
Pre-School is a place where your children will be introduced to school life in an encouraging and stimulating way. You and your child will receive a warm and friendly welcome at the beginning of each session at Pre-School. They offer full and part-time places in Nursery, with all pupils joining Reception full-time. This gives your child a great start to education, as we enable them to begin their school life with confidence and curiosity. There’s lots of fun and educational activities for the children to do in Early Years and it gives them a fantastic foundation in their educational career. Things to note
Open Day and Vist
Open Days are an ideal way of looking around a school to see if you think this might be the one for you and your child. Our pupils play a huge part in the success of these days and thoroughly enjoy showing prospective families around their school. The tours are designed to give a flavour of what St Martins is all about – you will have the opportunity to look around the whole school, with pupils and staff on hand to answer any questions you will undoubtedly have.
Extra Curricular
We set high standards for your child’s academic abilities, their attitude to learning and each other. They are a prep school that recognises everyone’s individual talents, encouraging the children to aim high and always fulfil their potential. This is aided by a stimulating and engaging curriculum within a welcoming and encouraging family atmosphere. Throughout our history we have ensured a continued traditional approach to learning, encouraging our pupils to develop into independent and confident learners.
