At Jameah Girls Academy, our Primary section caters for pupils from Years 1-6. They offer a comprehensive programme of study that is conducive to our ethos of spiritual and academic excellence. Making Sense of Money
Jameah Girls Academy are working towards becoming a MoneySense Accredited School as part of our commitment to teaching our pupils how to use money safely and responsibly. We were joined in 2018/2019 by volunteers from NatWest who ran MoneySense workshops with all classes in Years 3 to 6. The Year 3/4 class learned about how they use money, how it can be spent, saved or donated. They also explored the difference between ‘needs’ and ‘wants’. Year 5 and Year 6 became detectives for the day to solve a crime of fraud as part of their workshop. This helped them to understand the dangers of identity theft and fraud.The children were very excited about receiving certificates for their excellent work and we are very grateful to the volunteers from NatWest who joined them. They all enjoyed a great interactive workshop with our fantastic pupils.
