Waterville Primary School is a state primary school for kids age 3 - 11 (Gender - Mixed)

The aim is always to support and further develop the children of the school community. The school is a very successful one and they are extremely proud of the young children.At Waterville Primary School pupils, parents, staff and governors will work in partnership as a whole school community to maintain the positive ethos of our school, and to continually  raise pupils’ achievements  by promoting a high quality education  which equips children emotionally, physically, intellectually and morally, and which develops high aspirations, a positive self image, tolerance and respect for all.

Curriculum
At Waterville Primary School, we believe that every pupil deserves the best education to equip them for the next stage in their life, whatever and wherever that will be. They offer a broad and balanced curriculum where all subjects are valued. Children learn a wealth of knowledge and skills in all areas of the curriculum through discreet and linked subject areas, ensuring progression but also revisiting, to embed learning. Woven through the curriculum are 7 values which we call our ‘Character RESPECT Values’. SEND 
They believe in a fully incusive approach for pupils with additional needs. This includes working closely with parents and carers to support your child to achieve their full potential.Miss Leanne Hyde is our Special Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCo) and leads on Inclusion at Waterville.​  Miss Hyde holds a Post Graduate Certificate in SEND Coordination (National Award in SEND Coordination, NASC).Waterville Primary also has a Communication Support Base for up to 10 pupils with a range of speech and language difficulties.  Miss Rebecca Brown is our Communication Support Base Manager.

Extra Curricular Activities
Currently there are a number of clubs that children can attend out of school hours. These include:hockey, football, basketball, skipping, multi-skills, rugby, art, homework, ICT, Girl’s ICT, reading & library, choir, drama, drumming, recorder, guitar, keyboard, violin, mosaic, cookery, gardening, craft, gymnastics, volleyball, rounders, cricket etc.
