FREE Kids entry to 200+ UK attractions - Easy Hack

Today I am sharing an easy hack that can give free entry to 200+ attractions for your kids. You can get free access to attractions around the UK from theme parks to castles, zoos to museums, high adrenalin sports to relaxing gardens. So check the details below:

All you need is a Blue Peter badge.

Who can get a Blue Peter Badge?

Blue Peter Badges, awarded since 1963 by CBBC's Blue Peter.

Any one aged 5-15 years can get this badge.  Blue badges are awarded for sending in interesting letters, stories, makes, pictures, poems and good ideas for the show.

How to get a Blue Peter Badge?

To get a Blue Badge, kids need to send in a 'creative contribution' to earn it. This could be a poem, a story, some artwork, a model, a recipe, a suggestion for the show, or an interesting letter telling us about something you have done linked to your hobbies and interests.

You can apply online or by post.

Online - https://mybluepeter.bbcstudios.com/#/

Post:  Children need to include your full name, your date of birth, your home postal address and postcode (not your school address)

Post it to Blue Peter with the correct stamp on it (you'll need a 'large letter' stamp if sending an A4, or to pay for parcel postage if bigger than a letter).  Send your application letter and any other materials to the following address:

Blue Peter
MediaCityUK
Salford
M50 2BH

2. Ask your parent or guardian to set up a BBC child account so you can use My Blue Peter. Please remember your username and password, as you’ll need these to log in and request your ID card, once your badge has been issued.

3.  Send a creative contribution to earn your badge. This could be a poem, a story, some artwork, a model, a recipe, a suggestion for the show, or an interesting letter telling us about something you have done linked to your hobbies and interests.

How long it takes to get the Badge card/ ID?

Their website says "We receive thousands of letters and applications every week and we read every single one, so it can take a bit of time for us to get through them all. We aim to reply to you within 8 to 12 weeks time. We have received an unprecedented amount of letters (tens of thousands), so please bear with us whilst we work through everyone’s badge applications."

Which attractions are covered?

There are 200+ attractions across the UK.

Examples - London Zoo, Kensington palace, St Paul's Cathedral, Hampton Court Palace, Ocenarium, Roman Baths, Edinburgh Zoo etc.

Check out the full list here

How to use Blue Badge to get free entry to the attractions?

You will need the badge ID card to gain free entry to any of the 200 attractions listed on the website. This can get your child in for free with a paying adult ticket (although this differs between each attraction).

Please share it with your friends and families so that they can get benefit too.
