Great Summer Trails this Summer!

Great sculpture trails have landed across the Country this Summer! Great for visiting with kids and families and get them outside and active.

Wild in Art are the creative producers of these spectacular and innovative public art trails. Working together with local partnerships, their trails include 3D sculptures which are creatively painted by artists across the country and in many cases help raise vital funds for charities and good causes! 1. Hop to It (Ispwich) - 21 June 25  – 29 August 25

Hop To It! Suffolk 2025 sculpture art trail, live from 21 June to 29 August 2025.

  • Discover all 131 hares in Ipswich, Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Beccles & Lowestoft!
  • The trail features ornately decorated hare sculptures and is once again hosted in Ipswich as well as, for the first time, in neighbouring satellite locations including Beccles, Felixstowe, Lowestoft and Woodbridge. Each satellite location has two large sculptures and small sculptures in their towns.

2. GoGoSafari (Norwich and Norfolk) - 23 June 25  – 30 August 25

  • GoGoSafari will fill the streets with a spectacular herd of gorillas, rhinos, giraffes, lions, and elephants – all waiting to be discovered by you
  • These 51 sculptures are joined by over 60 Mini Gs – adorable little giraffes brought to life by the creativity of local schools and community groups.

3. SmileyWorld® Art Trail (Stockport) 4 July 25  – 13 September 25

  • Stockport has transformed into a playful outdoor gallery, featuring a colourful collection of quirky, fun, and exciting sculptures inspired by SmileyWorld® icons.
  • Each icon showcases unique artwork on its reverse, created by artists interpreting a range of SmileyWorld® emoticons.
  • Following its success in Battersea, London, and North Tyneside, the SmileyWorld® Art Trail makes its North West debut, offering free family fun throughout the summer holidays.

 4. Shaun the Sheep: Find the Flock (Reading) 5 July 25  – 31 August 25

  • Reading has become a baa-rilliant adventure this summer, with 12 giant Shaun the Sheep sculptures creating a fun visitor trail across the town centre.
  • Besides exploring the 160cm-tall colourful sculptures, visitors can join a fun competition by unscrambling letters on 11 Shaun statues to reveal a mystery word and win prizes.
  • Delivered in partnership with Aardman and Wild in Art, the Find the Flock trail showcases uniquely designed sculptures by artists from the region and beyond.

5. Music for the Senses: Manchester 7 July 25  – 31 August 25 Wild in Art

  •  Music for the Senses art trail in Manchester, running from 7 July – 31 August 2025, celebrates the city’s music scene.
  • 48 painted guitars, along with murals and installations, are displayed throughout the city, featuring contributions from musicians like Oasis, Elbow, and New Order.
  • The decorated guitars will be auctioned to raise funds for grassroots music projects and venues in Greater Manchester, managed by Forever Manchester.
  • The project, in collaboration with Manchester City Council, also features installations by Manchester artist Lazerian and international street artists.
