Aerospace Bristol is an aerospace museum at Filton, to the north of Bristol, England. The project is run by the Bristol Aero Collection Trust and houses a varied collection of exhibits, including Concorde Alpha Foxtrot, the final Concorde to be built and the last to fly.

A family day out that gives you the chance to step aboard the last Concorde ever to fly. With Concorde as its star attraction, Aerospace Bristol will take you on a journey through more than a century, from the very first powered flights to the modern day. Discover aeroplanes, helicopters and space technology and get hands-on with fun interactives and activities for all ages.

Price starts from £20.00 for Adults(18 years and over), £13.50 for Children(4-17 & under 4s free) and £43.00 for Family(1 Adults and up to 2 children).   • The Aerospace Galleries: Journey through 100 years of Aviation History, Starting in the early 1900s, your journey will take you through two world wars. Explore the vital role of aircraft in these global conflicts, through the drama and technological advances of the space race and on to the modern day, and discover the latest technologies of today’s aerospace industry.  
  • The Concorde Hangar: Step aboard the last Concorde, the stunning centrepiece of your visit will be Concorde Alpha Foxtrot: the last of the iconic supersonic passenger jets to be built and the last to fly. Enjoy a spectacular projection show of three short films displayed onto the side of the aircraft telling its remarkable history before you step aboard. Explore the exhibition gallery showcasing a fascinating collection of memorabilia including a pilot’s uniform, model and a flight deck.
  • The Conservation in Action Workshop: See the Bristol Freighter, Bolingbroke 9048 and meet Conservation Volunteers. Situated in a restored Grade II listed WWI aircraft hangar, built around 1915, the latest addition to Aerospace Bristol allows visitors to get up-close to conservation projects. Visitors can explore the Bristol Bolingbroke 9048 and now go on board the Bristol Freighter.
  • Hangar 16R: Home of the Rolls-Royce Aerospace Collection. Discover a museum store with over 30 Rolls-Royce engines.Step inside and discover the story of how engines developed over time.

  • Hands-on history: Uncover the Shadow Factories where aircraft parts were secretly built during the war and hear incredible stories from history-makers.
  • Outdoor play area: Let the kids run around whilst you relax with a coffee in our outdoor play and seating area, all thanks to Enovert Community Trust.
  • Treat them in the gift shop: Build your own solar system, launch a rocket, or fly your own plane, there's plenty to inspire the kids with a visit to the Aerospace Bristol gift shop. Keep the fun going long after you return home.

Facilities

  • Parking: Parking is free of charge and there are designated car and coach parking bays on site outside the museum.  For visitors with disabilities, we have several disabled parking bays near the entrance to the museum.
  • Food & Drinks: Flightline Kitchen + Bar offers a delicious range of freshly-made meals, snacks and drinks. A children’s menu and high chairs are available. 
  • Dogs: We welcome all guide and assistance dogs, but pets are not permitted.

  • Bus: Bus stops (Gipsy Patch Lane, High Leaze Road, Callicroft Road, and Charlton Boulevard) are approximately half a mile from the museum; visitors from Bristol Parkway can take the hourly Y6 First Bus to High Leaze Road, while those from Bristol City Centre can take the 75 First Bus to Gipsy Patch Lane or the hourly Y6 First Bus to Charlton Boulevard.
