  • Castle Gardens: Uniquely for a Scottish Castle, Cawdor boasts three very different gardens. Each with their own history that generations of owners have, transformed, and extended.
  • The Ground: Explore the marked Nature Trails through the Big Wood and walk amongst majestic trees that have been part of Cawdor history for hundreds of years.
  • Fishing: A challenging beat capable of delivering great sport. Not for the faint hearted, it requires fishing from the top and sides of large rocks and, once a fish is hooked, great care is required in taking it to the net.
  • Golf: The 9-hole golf course at Cawdor Castle has been in use since 1976 and covers 25 acres of beautiful parkland.

Facilities

Parking: have a car park and coach park that are free to use. There is also ample space for campervans and motorhomes. The designated parking area for these is clearly signposted - please follow the singage and do not park campervans in our Coach Park. Please note that no overnight parking is permitted, and the car park closes at 6pm sharp.
