Chester Ghost Tour is a guided evening walking tour that explores the dark and mysterious side of Chester’s past. Set in one of Britain’s most haunted cities, it brings over 2,000 years of history to life through chilling stories and legends. The tour takes place at night, starting at 7.30pm outside the Town Hall Visitor Information Centre on Northgate Street. Visitors walk through Chester’s historic streets while expert guides share tales of ghosts, ghouls, hauntings, and unexplained sightings linked to the city’s Roman, medieval, and modern history. Special tour dates run throughout the year, including Valentine’s Day, Halloween (24–31 October), and additional seasonal dates.
Tickets cost £10.00 for adults. Concession tickets are £9.00 when paid in advance for children under 16, students in full-time education, and seniors over 60, while a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children under 16) costs £30.00. Private Ghost Tours are also available year-round for birthdays, corporate groups, school groups, and private parties, with pricing provided on request.
