  • Tropical Bug Zoo: Discover the most fascinating invertebrates from all over the world in our purpose-built Bug Zoo. Follow the leafcutter ant colony as they traverse the room, play hide and seek with the stick insects or simply wonder at the whip scorpions. Prepare to be amazed!
  • Bug Farm Trail: Our Bug Farm Trail meanders over six acres of our farm and showcases nature recovery in action and Pembrokeshire farming in bite-size chunks. Meander through the wildflower meadows, weave your way across the wetland walk, wander through our newly planted woodland and amble along the arable plots. Learn about how we manage our habitat here to benefit wildlife and what we are up to with our scientific research. The trail is teeming with our native wildlife so remember to keep your eyes peeled!
  • Bug Museum: Showcasing the wonderful world of bugs from science to technology and from food to art. You will find displays and an array of mind boggling facts about what bugs do for us.
  • Walled Garden: Enjoy a peaceful moment watching the butterflies and bees, with flower beds planted especially for bugs and a wildlife pond. If you are imagining manicured lawns and pristine beds, think again! This is a beautifully chaotic wildlife haven, designed and managed for the little creatures that rule the world. Come and see what you can spot.
  • Art Gallery: Bugs have inspired our fashion and art for generations. In the farm’s historical milking shed, we display ever-changing exhibitions from textiles and photographs to paintings and sculpture.
  • Indoor Play Barn: The Bug Barn is a big, open barn in which kids can run riot and let off steam! Children must be accompanied. Suitable for ages 3+.
  • British Bug House: Come and learn about some of Britain’s best bugs and what you can do at home to look after them. This is our home of Nature Discovery and there are big plans afoot!

Directions from the East/South (Haverfordwest): Follow signs towards St Davids on the A487.  Once you reach St Davids you will come to a roundabout (The Oriel y Parc visitor centre is on your left and the High Street of St Davids is ahead of you) turn right at this roundabout to follow the Glasfryn Road. At the end of the Glasfryn Road you will come to a T junction with a Premier Inn on your left. Turn right and follow the A487 for approximately 1 mile. After 1 mile, the road goes slightly down hill and bends sharply to the right. Just after the right hand bend our track is on the right. It is signed with two black beetles on fence posts. Follow the track down and turn left into the car park.

Directions from the North (Fishguard): Follow signs towards St Davids on the A487. Approx 5 minutes after you pass through a small village called Croesgoch you will pass through an even smaller village called Carnhedryn. Continue straight on, and after few miles the road goes slightly down hill, our track is on the left just before the road bends to the left. It is signed with black beetles on fence posts. If you go past the white house on the bend, you have gone too far. Follow the track down and turn left into the car park.
