Dublin Falconry is a school focused on the education and conservation of birds of prey, offering hands-on falconry experiences in a beautiful 526-acre estate at Luttrellstown Castle Resort. Home to 26 raptors, including hawks, owls, falcons, and buzzards, it provides a unique opportunity to experience the heritage art of falconry in a scenic and historic setting. All activities are private, wheelchair accessible, and suitable for all ages and group types.

The centre offers a variety of experiences such as the Hawk Walk, where guests fly a hawk from tree to fist and receive a digital photo souvenir. Visitors can also enjoy multi-level Falconry Experiences involving falcons and owls, including the impressive Eagle Owl, Teddy. There’s also a dedicated Owl Experience featuring six different owls, and falconry courses for deeper learning.

Prices vary depending on the activity and group size. The Hawk Walk and Owl Experience start at €136 for one person and go up to €329 for four people. Falconry Experience A starts at €204 and Falconry Experience C (the most inclusive) starts at €431 for one person.

Hawk walk: A brief history of our birds will be given on an educational walk around the center. Those who venture outside will choose one of four Harris Hawks and take a walk around the scenic grounds of Luttrellstown Castle. You will be under instruction from the Falconer as you will fly a hawk from tree-to-tree and tree-to-fist.
Falconry Experience A: Includes hawk walk and one of our four falcons in a thrilling lure demonstration. Watch the falcon as she dives to catch a swung lure at tremendous speeds to outwit the falconer.
Falconry Experience B: Includes Hawk Walk and Falconry Experience 'A'. Also includes our local Barn Owl and Scandinavian cousin. These are amazing little creatures as they fly to you like best friends.
Falconry Experience C: Includes Hawk Walk, Falconry Experience 'A' and 'B' and Four larger Owls. They include Eagle Owls, Bengal Owls and Barn Owls. You will fly, hold and feed these fabulous birds and really get up close to these amazing creatures.
Owl Experience: This experience features six Owls on display to you. Get set with our Barn Owls as they will thrill you and welcome you to their world. Meet little Bella, our native long-eared Owl. Move up in size to Lincoln, our Bengal Owl and two of our new arrivals. Finish by flying our massive Eagle Owl, Teddy.
