The Eastleigh Lakeside Miniature Railway has been delighting generations of visitors since 1993 - having grown in scale and popularity, it is now regarded as one of Hampshire's must-visit family destinations. Embark on a 1¼ mile 20 minute round-trip through Lakeside Country Park. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, from birds & rabbits to the herd of cows! Midway through your journey, stop off at Monks Brook Station where children can explore the adventure playground, whilst the whole family can unwind with a picnic in the park’s green spaces.
Country Park: Lakeside Country Park is the perfect space to escape the hustle of urban living. Find some peace and calm amongst 22 hectares of lakes, wet meadow and woodland. The Park is thriving with a diverse range of wildlife from birds, insects and small mammals to deer, foxes and even species of bat. Enjoy a walk around with your dog, stop for a picnic, relax with a day's fishing or just watch the world go by. Stop off at Monks Brook for the adventure playground.
Driver Experience: Our Driver Experience courses are a great way to treat someone, whether you are celebrating a special occasion, big birthday, or even if it is just an excuse for a get-together. Learn how to light and prepare the locomotive before driving round our 1 ¼ mile track at the controls, under the expert eye of one of our experienced drivers. Photo opportuntities aplenty!
Crazy Golf: Why not 'swing' by Parkway Station to tee off on our BRAND NEW fun-filled 9 hole Crazy Golf Course! Putt your way through the pyramids, under Humpty Dumpty, over the ramp and round other challenging obstacles to see who is crowned the winner! At £2.95 per person, pick up your club, ball and scorecard from the railway gift shop.
