There is also an extensive grassy area, the Greensward, which is an ideal spot for a picnic.

Use the toilet before going to beach as its next to road in the green area which is high from beach level. There is cost fof 20p to use toilets and they are clean

No distractions - just enjoy the beach - No fairground rides, no arcade machines, no loud music, no food or drink kiosks. There are no cafes on the promenade nor ice cream stalls so bring your own picnic. For food, you can go to the high street.`
