Everyone has a transport story. From school buses to first bicycles; family road trips to cross-country trains; the way we travel has always shaped us and how we live our lives. It’s one of the few truly universal experiences that connects all of us — past, present and future.

Our Collections & Exhibitions: Each new season, our team endeavours to present a fresh exhibition and to change at least a third of our vehicle exhibits — refreshing the GTM experience for new and returning visitors alike.
The GTM Collections: Grampian Transport Museum’s collection brings together a diverse range of vehicles that tells the story of going places, from the early twentieth century to the present day.At its heart are veteran and vintage cars, post-war family saloons, classic British sports cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles — many with strong Scottish connections. The below listed exhibits are part of GTM's permanent collection.
And On That Bombshell: Back by popular demand: our smash-hit exhibition featuring iconic, one-of-a-kind vehicles that previously appeared on BBC’s Top Gear.
The Guy Martin Collection: Guy Martin's collection arrived at GTM as the centrepiece of the 2019 season, and with his continued generosity we have some amazing items from his exploits on display in the museum.

Parking: There is a free car park directly in front of the Museum with ample spaces. On event days, there may be overflow parking arrangements.
Dog-Friendly: We love well-behaved four-legged friends at GTM, but please be prepared, our staff will make a fuss of them!
