This heated outdoor swimming pool has been welcoming visitors from near and far since 1964 and is located in the heart of the stunning Eden Valley. Nestled on the outskirts of Lazonby village, it is just a five-minute walk from Lazonby & Kirkoswald train station and a short drive from Penrith, Carlisle, and the Lake District. The adjoining campsite offers an ideal base for those wishing to explore the surrounding area. This peaceful site is surrounded by fields and woodland, with picturesque views across the Eden Valley to the Pennines. It features 10 pitches with electric hook-ups, shower facilities, and an adjoining playground, all just a two-minute walk from the swimming pool.

The pool itself measures 17 by 8 meters, is heated to a comfortable 24ºC, and includes a toddler pool and fountain. The depth ranges from 1 meter at the shallow end to 2.29 meters at the deep end. A kiosk on site offers a variety of snacks, ice creams, hot and cold drinks, and there is a covered seating area for visitors to relax.

Riverside Campsite Location: Lazonby Campsite is set in a scenic spot beside the River Eden, surrounded by fields, woodland, and the dramatic Pennine Fells. It’s just a few miles from Penrith and only 15 miles from the northern Lake District.
Seasonal Camping: The campsite is open annually from Easter until the end of September. All bookings must be made online via PitchUp.com at least 24 hours before arrival.

Car Parking.
Lazonby Pool and campsite is a short drive from junction 41 of the M6. When leaving the motorway follow signs for the A6, and at the next roundabout take the 2^nd exit, signposted A6 Carlisle/ Plumpton. When you reach Plumpton, turn right onto the B6413 signposted to Lazonby.
Drive through Lazonby and on the outskirts of the village the Pool is on the right and side. There is a small car park next to the pool and additional parking is available either on the road or in the field behind the pool.
