Description

Both my parents are from farming families. Muddy Boots in Fife is part of the farm that my great-grandfather first bought in the 1930s. During the 1950s my Grandma (Treina) started the first ‘farm shop’ on the farm, selling freshly harvested vegetables from the back door of the farm house. In 2004, Mum started selling raspberries from our family tent at the bottom of the farm drive. The following year, Muddy Boots was created and we moved production into a poly tunnel. We expanded the range of fruit and veg that we grew and started bringing in other local produce.

Today they have a farm shop, café, and play area, with most of the family actively involved in the day-to-day running of the business. Join us for a family fun day out!

The Coop - Indoor play
The Indoor area has been revamped for 2020 with wooden play as well as a ball pit, kitchen and car play areas and an under 3's area.

Muddy Meadow - Outdoor Play
Family fun all year round, our outdoor play area is well spaced out with fun for all ages - sledging is the perfect feel good activity, and with our specially designed ramp you are able to race each other down the hill. Other Attractions include Zorbing, Adventure Course, swings, see-saw, Giant Sandpit, Tractors and more!

Pottery
Pottery painting at Muddy Boots is easy peasy! No previous experience is needed, and it’s great fun for all ages!

Giant Jumping Pillow
Big enough to accommodate the biggest of kids, and bouncy enough to tire out the smallest, Muddy Boots’ Giant Jumping Pillows are lots of fun for any age. Everyone heads straight for it (getting them off might be the challenge). Great exercise. Great fun. Simply Great.

Pig Racing
Watch this unique sporting race, buy a badge to show your support and cheer your favourite pig down the home straight. A brilliant and funny race that the whole family will love to watch. A firm favourite with regular customers and first time visitors alike. The piggies love to race, getting excited as the crowds appear. They tear round the course and enjoy a sumptuous meal of pig nuts at the end. It is the piggies’ choice if they wish to take part. All piggies are fed at the end of the race if they compete or not.

Birthday Party Details

A Munchkins Party (age 1+)
The new Munchkins party is available to wee people of any age. Please note the Munchkins party is not supervised by the Muddy Boots play team.
£10.50 per child. Minimum child numbers – 8, Maximum child numbers – 20
The party includes;
2 hr party room hire, with sink area.
Party food, (option 1) served in bags for each guest.
Entry into the play area for each child attending the party
Parties for primary 1 + children
As well as all the great attractions we offer at Muddy Boots, your birthday party will be run by a member of our experienced play team to ensure the party is stress free for you and special for your child. They will make sure that your birthday party goes with a swing – or a bounce.

Outdoor Mayhem Party (primary 1+)
Mayhem parties are based outdoors and includes playing on the jumping pillow*, grass sledging, trikes, bikes and access to the play barn. Our staff will keep the children entertained and having fun throughout the party. They will run around and cause mayhem hopefully they will be tired out at the end, we know the party staff always are. A member of our play team will lead the party and the party games leaving you with time to socialise with the other parents and over see the party.

Woodland Adventure Party (age 5+)
A great outdoor alternative, the children will spend 45 minutes on a woodland adventure which will include a treasure hunt and games. This party also includes time on the bouncy pillow*, play barn access and an animal talk.

Lego Party (age 5+)
Enjoy this indoor option in our special party hut. Give your Kids the chance to build all the lego they love with the people the love to build with.

Arty Party (age 5+)
No matter what age kids, all love getting stuck in. You can choose to paint pottery or paint a picture on canvas. This part of the party will last 45min – 1hour. Once the messy part is over the children are set free to play. The play element of this party is not supervised by our staff.

Laser Tag party
For ages 7 and up we have created our new Re-Act Laser Tag area with plenty of hiding spots and hiding dens to trick your friends! Laser Tag parties last for 2 hours with 3, 15 minute games and water breaks.
