What to see

Pro-Tips

  • Check House Opening Days: Ragley Hall itself is a private home and is not open to the public every day; check the calendar if you want to see the interiors.
  • Wear Sturdy Shoes: The parkland and adventure playground involve a lot of walking on uneven ground and grass.
  • Arrive Early for Events: During major events like the Game Fair or outdoor concerts, the estate gets very busy, so plan for extra travel time.

What Visitors Love

  • The Playground: Parents consistently rank the adventure playground as the highlight for children, often spending most of their visit there.
  • Wide Open Spaces: The vast amount of room means it rarely feels crowded, even on busy sunny weekends.
  • Value for Money: The family ticket is viewed as excellent value considering you can spend nearly a whole day on-site.

What Visitors Don't Like

  • Limited Indoor Options: If it rains, there are fewer things for kids to do aside from the house tour (if it's open).
  • Steep Paths: Some areas of the parkland have steep inclines which can be a bit of a workout with a heavy buggy.
