Castle Rednock Off Road Riding Centre (FK8 3LD) is located on a scenic working hill farm within the Stirling, Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, easily accessible from Stirling, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, and just five miles from Aberfoyle and Callander. Farmed by the More family for over a century, the site features a medieval castle with commanding views of Stirling Castle and Wallace’s Monument. Riders can enjoy panoramic views from the Ochils to Ben Lomond, including Scotland’s only Lake of Menteith. After 23 years operating a pony trekking business, the centre now allows customers to ride their own horses across rolling hills and a canter track.
Horse riding is available for £20 for up to two hours. Facilities include hill and track riding space, hire of two riding schools (booking required), and trailer or lorry parking (booking needed).
