Features

Falmouth Fiasco - Stop the Oyster-Thieving Plot!

  • Aww, shucks! The famous Falmouth Oyster Festival is in danger of becoming a real shell of its former self. A group of sneaky agents, disguised as fishermen, have set their sights on the event, led by the notorious scientist, Mary Thyme.
  • She claims she needs the oysters for "scientific research," but we all know she's just planning to enjoy them for her own gourmet pleasure.
  • With the festival just around the corner, the locals are in a frenzy to prepare, but the agents have struck first and stolen all the oysters, keeping them hidden at a secret location.
  • Thankfully, we have an insider who has pinpointed the hiding spot, but there's a catch - the mole is stuck on a secret lock combination. We need your help, top Super Spies, to crack the code, recover the oysters, and foil Mary Thyme's buttery plans.
  • We can't let these fishy agents turn the festival into a clammy disaster. Are you ready to take on this exciting mission and save the day?

Spy Mission Through Falmouth - Historic Harbour Town

  • We've got a top-secret mission for you, special agent! We're counting on you to crack this self-guided spy mission Trail through the heart of Falmouth.
  • Follow our intel around this historic harbour town, weaving through hidden streets and avoiding enemy eyes at all times. A major local festival is in jeopardy, and it's up to you to stop the madness.
  • After being targeted by a crazy local scientist who plans to disrupt the event for her own gains, the Falmouth Oyster Festival is at risk. Our insider intel tells us she intends to hoard the delicious oysters to conduct crazy crustaceous experiments.
  • We can't let that happen. We need you, our top agent, to solve the sneaky clues, crack the code, and stop the fishy fiend. Good luck!

Birthday Party Details

Want a birthday that’s actually fun (and doesn’t involve everyone just sitting around)? A Treasure Trail is an easy, ready-to-go adventure that gets people outside, exploring and laughing together. Our pre-written Trails are suitable for children and adults aged 6+, and work best in small teams of around 4–5 people. Everyone follows the route, cracks the clues, and solves the mystery as they go.

How a Treasure Trail birthday works

  • Pick a location (choose somewhere local, or make it part of a day out).
  • Split into teams (4–5 per team works best).
  • Set the mission (a quick briefing + team names instantly boosts excitement).
  • Start times (stagger teams by 2–5 minutes to avoid copying).
  • Finish with prizes (more on that below!).

Children’s birthday parties: what to know

  • We get asked a lot whether Trails work for children’s parties.
  • Standard Trails are designed for ages 6+, but at that age they’re best enjoyed as a family group or mixed adult/child team, because the directions and clue-solving usually need grown-up support.
  • If you’ve got 20 energetic 6-year-olds and one adult, a standard Trail probably isn’t the right fit.
  • For older children (often 9/10+, depending on the group), small teams can work really well, but they’ll still need adult supervision, especially near roads and crossings.

Ready to plan your birthday Trail?

  • Pick a location, choose your Trail, and you’re good to go.
  • If you’d like help choosing a Trail that suits your group size, ages, and timings, get in touch and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Visit the website for more information.

Trails are self-guided and can be instantly downloaded from the Treasure Trail website. Follow the Trail, solve the clues and see the sights on any day of your choosing.
