The Porthleven Treasure Trail is a self-guided spy mission themed walking adventure set in the scenic harbour town of Porthleven. This interactive Treasure Trail invites families and friends to explore the town while solving clues and cracking a secret code. It’s a fun way to discover the harbour, village streets and coastal scenery while completing an exciting secret agent mission.
The story follows a dangerous plot by the notorious enemy agency DEVON (Dastardly Evil Villains Of Notoriety), who plan to reactivate two harbour cannons and launch gas that would make people hate pasties, ice cream and beer. As top secret agents, your mission is to follow clues hidden around Porthleven and decode the information needed to stop the plan. The Trail begins near the harbour, explores the village centre, passes the old lifeboat house and finishes along a scenic cliff path while you work to save Cornwall from disaster.
The Trail costs £9.99 GBP per Trail, with one booklet recommended for a group of 4–5 people. Treasure Trail birthday parties are also available, where teams explore the route, solve clues and complete the mission together, with adult supervision recommended for younger children.
