Your visit begins in the North Tower, where you learn about the architects, engineers, and workers who built the bridge through films and displays. You then walk across the High-Level Walkways, enjoy panoramic views 33.5 metres above the road, step onto the thrilling Glass Floors, and explore the South Tower, Blue Line, and the historic Victorian Engine Rooms. The experience finishes at the Gift Shop, where you can pick up London-themed souvenirs.

Ticket prices start from £12.80 for adults and £6.40 for children, with family tickets available from £23 and free entry for under-5s. Discounted tickets are available for seniors, students, disabled visitors, and local residents, with community tickets from £1.

  • North Tower: Your visit to Tower Bridge begins in the North Tower. Following a bag search and welcome from our Welcome Hosts, you will walk up the staircase and discover the architects, engineers, divers, riveters who laid the foundations and built London’s defining landmark. Watch films from the time when the Bridge was built and experience the hustle and bustle of Victorian London.
  • Walkways: Discover the marvellous High-Level Walkways of Tower Bridge, and spot some of the 13 million rivets that hold the landmark together. Connecting the North and South Towers, the Walkways offer breath-taking panoramic views of London from 33.5 metres above Tower Bridge road, from east to west. Don't forget to visit both East and West Walkways and learn all about the history and building of Tower Bridge.
  • Glass Floors: See London life through the Glass Floors in the High-Level Walkways, from a unique viewpoint 43.5m above the River Thames at high tide, and 33.5m above road level. From London buses and black taxis to the river boats and cruise ships, watch the hustle and bustle of the city right beneath your feet. Each of the Glass Floors can hold up to six elephants. Don't forget to use the mirrored ceiling to help you get the best selfie! 
  • Unforgettable views: Enjoy the iconic panoramic views of London, with the Tower of London, St Pauls and The Shard to the west and Canary Wharf and Shooter's Hill to the east. The lattice High-Level Walkways of Tower Bridge offer a unique perspective of the River Thames and surrounding areas. This view has marked the entrance to the city for more than 130 years. The Walkways have small camera windows to help you to capture the perfect shot.
  • South Tower: Descend through the South Tower and discover what happened on the Bridge after its opening. Get to know some of the incidents, the works and the events, and the people who have worked on it since 1894. Stand within the original designs for the Bridge’s towers and the bascule chambers. Investigate original tools of the engineers, the uniforms of the Bridge staff, and materials which were used to build the Bridge.
  • Blue Line: Follow the Blue Line that leads from the Towers to the historic Engine Rooms. 80 bronze plaques have been set into the surface along the Blue Line, shining light on some of the unsung heroes who worked on the landmark bridging London. Between the exit of the South Tower and the Engine Rooms, there is a blue line painted on the pavement. Set into its surface are a series of 80 bronze plaques. They alternate between those with names and those with ornamental designs.
  • Engine Rooms: Explore the historic Engine Rooms that once powered the mighty Bridge Lifts for over 80 years. Discover the stories of some of the 432 workers who kept Tower Bridge in motion from day one. Note: when entering the Engine Rooms, staff will check your ticket and bag on arrival. During UK school holidays, we host Ask an Expert where our technical team are available for questions.

  • By Bus: The following bus routes will take you to Tower Bridge: 15, 42, 78, 100, 343. Step free access is available from Tower Bridge City Hall bus stop (routes 42, 78 and 343), walking distance 280m (0.17 miles) to the Ticket Office. Step free access is available from Tooley Street bus stop (routes 47, 343 and 381), walking distance 450m (0.28 miles) to the Engine Room entrance.
  • By Tube (London Underground): Tower Hill station is a seven-minute walk from Tower Bridge. It can be can be accessed from the District, and Circle lines. It has step-free access from platform to street, walking distance 500m (0.32 miles) to the Ticket Office. London Bridge station is served by the Northern, and Jubilee lines. Tower Bridge is just a short walk away. It has step-free access from train to street, walking distance 1km (0.62 miles) to the Engine Rooms entrance.
  • By Riverboat: Riverboats stop at Tower Pier to the north of the Bridge, and at London Bridge City Pier on the southern side of the Thames. Both are a short walk from Tower Bridge. We advise checking the riverboat providers’ website for their latest schedules.
  • By Train: Tower Bridge is close to both London Bridge and Fenchurch Street National Rail stations, or Tower Gateway DLR Station. If you are up for a nice walk along the Thames, you can also walk to Tower Bridge from Blackfriars, Cannon Street or City Thameslink stations.
