Welcome to the W5 Step into MED-Lab — our interactive exhibition area developed in partnership with Almac — to explore the medical marvel that is the human body and discover how medicines are developed. Give your class a day of discovery, hands-on learning, and unforgettable experiences with a W5 visit and workshop to round off the term.

W5 has 8 exhibition zones, with over 250 interactive exhibits for the whole family. Firing the spirit of discovery, with limitless fun for everyone. You can find detailed information on our Exhibits, Workshops, Special Events, Demos & Shows as well as our Outreach programme.

Price starts from £12.00 for Adults(16-59 years), £10.00 for Children(5-15 years) and £39.50 for Family(1 Adults and up to 3 children). Facilities

Parking: From the North Approaching Belfast on the M2 follow the signs onto the M3. Leave the M3 at the Queen´s Island exit. Turn left at the lights onto Sydenham Road, the Odyssey Arena is on your right and car park on your left.
Food & Drinks: W5's Coffee Lab is open daily and offers a range of tea, coffee and soft drinks. If you're feeling peckish, a daily selection of soups, fresh sandwiches, salads, and snacks are also available.
Lockers: Lockers are available for public use (for example storage of coats or lunches) on the ground floor and Level 2. They operate with £1.00 coin, which is returned when the locker is opened.

Climbit Adventure: Explore the heights of W5’s huge multi-storey climbing structure – a cross between a vertical maze and a jungle gym!
Party Greeter: Every W5 Birthday Party comes with a party greeter, who will welcome your group on arrival and ensure the celebrations run smoothly.
Party Food: No party is complete without delicious food! We provide tasty party food that kids love, ensuring everyone stays fuelled up for all of the fun.

By car: Odyssey is clearly signposted on all major approach roads. For up to the minute route planning RAC has a "Route Planner" function which allows you to put in your address and calculates the best route possible for your journey to W5.
By bus: We're only a five-minute walk from the Laganside Bus Centre via Queen Elizabeth Bridge or Lagan Weir Bridge, and one mile from the Europa Bus Centre.Travel by Glider through city traffic and arrive fresh and ready on a modern mode of travel, providing direct cross-city services between the east and the west of the City and linking into Titanic Quarter neighbouring the Odyssey complex.
By train: Travel by train using Translink rail company, which operates throughout Northern Ireland.Travel from Northern Ireland. There are two stops that are within walking distance of W5. Catch a train at your local stop and get off at Titanic Quarter (10 min walk) or Lanyon Place Station (20 min walk) in Belfast.
By foot: Located in the bustling Titanic Quarter, W5 is less than a mile from Belfast City Centre on foot.
