There are several walking paths through the woods, making it a popular spot for local residents and visitors for walks and nature spotting. The area is a good place to see local wildlife, particularly in the spring when the woodland floor is covered in bluebells and other wildflowers.
Woolley Wood is the best bluebell wood I've ever seen. Every Spring it is an absolute carpet of blue and the scent, especially when the sun is shining, is beautiful.
