Facilities

Pre-Preparatory
The Early Years Foundation Stage has provided a firm base on which the school years now build. Core curriculum subjects are taken forward and children are already showing signs of that ‘Abbey’ confidence and our customary enjoyment in school life.

Juniors KS2 – a 4 year course
Children transfer to the Junior Department in Year 3 after completing Key Stage 1 SATs test in Year 2. Here they embark on a four-year course of development that leads to the Key Stage 2 SATs test at the end of Year 6, a development in their social skills, and a gradually maturing approach to the learning process itself before transferring to secondary education.

Nursery & Foundation Years
Children thrive in our nursery on the first step of their educational journey, enjoying a wealth of activities and experiences presented through a proven curriculum. A stimulating early years environment is vital for the development of happy and contented children and in EYFS – Abbey Nursery & Foundation stage, children enjoying our early learning opportunities to the full.
