Abbey College Cambridge is a top-performing independent Sixth Form College located in the heart of Cambridge. We offer a range of courses for students aged between 13 – 21 years.

The Abbey DLD Group of Colleges consists of three independent sixth form colleges located in Cambridge, London and Manchester. We offer GCSE, A-Level, BTEC, Foundation, Preparation, and Combined Studies Programmes. Since 1931 the Abbey DLD Group has been synonymous with premium quality education, top university destinations, and enriching student experiences.
Facilities
In all of our 42 classrooms, class sizes are small and the teaching is highly personalised. The latest interactive teaching technology enables students to participate fully in classes, discuss, debate, and ask questions.
In our 12 specialist scientific laboratories, the focus is on the practical application of scientific theories through experiments.
Art lessons take place in two dedicated studios where students are able to work with a wide range of materials and mediums.
Meals are served by a team of experienced and skilled chefs in our spacious, airy dining room. There is always a range of freshly cooked options, ranging from familiar tastes of home to exotic global cuisine and European and British favourites. Our fair trade coffee bar offers a range of hot and cold drinks and healthy snacks throughout the day.
Our Hall is a multi-purpose space that hosts clubs, sports, fitness classes, concerts, movie nights, assemblies and exams.
Outside of class, you can relax in libraries and spacious communal study and social areas. There is Wifi access throughout the school.

Extra Curricular
At Abbey College Cambridge we run more than 50 exciting staff and student- led clubs. It’s all part of our amazing Enrichment and Clubs Programme. Designed to provide you with amazing opportunities to achieve outside the classroom, Enrichment is divided into five categories Active, Community, Thinking, Science and Technology, Music and Creative Arts. Each Enrichment activity has outcomes which are specifically tailored to give you experiences you will treasure for the rest of your life, but also, very importantly, experiences you can talk about at university or job interviews in the future. For example, the teamwork and/or leadership that you demonstrate from playing in our sports teams.
Wednesday afternoon enrichment is compulsory for all students.
We also offer clubs and sports outside of Enrichment. These include competitive football and badminton. There is truly a club to suit everyone and if we don’t offer a club we will help you find one locally.
