The building is unusual in design with an upper and lower ground floor. In recent years, a multi million pound extension was added. Beaumont benefits from a large playing field, three playgrounds  two trim trails and an outdoor gym. Beaumont Curriculum
They offer a broad and balanced curriculum that aims to promote the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of our pupils and prepare them well for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life. They aspire for a curriculum that evokes an awe at the natural world as well as the expanse of human creativity and knowledge over time, but also conjures an understanding of humanity’s limitations - and empowers a readiness to take part in educated discourse as well as a willingness to tackle challenges. The school curriculum comprises all the learning and other experiences that we plan for our pupils. The national curriculum forms a major part of our school curriculum. It sets out the subject content that is taught to all pupils. A link to our curriculum plans which state the intended learning by subject and by academic year can be found below. The national curriculum aims to provide pupils with an introduction to the essential knowledge that they need to be educated citizens. It introduces pupils to “the best that has been thought and said; and helps engender an appreciation of human creativity and achievement.”

Things to note

SEND
Through a range of support from within our own staff team and using a wide range of experts from external agencies we aim to ensure that all children achieve their maximum potential. They actively encourage parents to work in partnership with school to ensure that both the child and parents are central in the decision-making process in order to ensure our pupils have the best possible life chances.

More Able Learners
At Beaumont Primary School we believe that developing an investigative, problem solving approach to learning, assists pupils to achieve high standards and gain life skills. They have developed a whole school approach to the teaching and learning of listening and thinking skills and incorporate activities to explicitly teach listening and thinking skills in the curriculum. This promotes social, co-operative and group work skills, as well as independence in individual work.Day-to-day planning reflects the learning needs of all our children.  This is achieved through the differentiation of planning and extended enrichment activities.
