Brampton Manor Academy (formerly Brampton Manor School) is an 11–18 mixed, secondary school and selective sixth form with academy status in East Ham, London, England. It is the second largest school in the London Borough of Newham.

Over the last 3 years, 147 students were offered Oxbridge places:

  • 2019 - 41 Oxbridge places
  • 2020 - 51 Oxbridge places
  • 2021 - 55 Oxbridge places

Sixth Form Admissions September 2021

In light of the cancellation of GCSE exams this summer, the application process for entry in September 2021 will operate as follows

  • Applications will open on Monday 8th March 2021 – a link to the application form will be available on this page of our website from this date
  • Completed applications must be submitted by Monday 7th June 2021.
  • On the morning of GCSE results day (Thursday 12th August 2021), applicants who have submitted an on-time application will be sent a link to upload their GCSE results. Results will need to be uploaded by 13:00.
  • We will invite applicants to a meeting (either physically or remotely, depending upon government guidance at the time) on Friday 13th or Saturday 14th August 2021, where you will be considered to enrol into our Sixth Form.
  • Applicants will be invited for meetings in order of the grades achieved (based on average points score across all GCSEs and the grades achieved in the subjects you want to study) until all courses are full.

In order to be considered for a place you must meet the following minimum entry conditions.

  • 6.5 Average Points Score across all GCSEs.
  • Grade 5 in GCSE Maths and English Language.

Please note that significantly higher grades than the minimum are likely to be required to secure a place.
