From archery, chess, fencing, flying, fishing, kick-boxing, judo, basketball, hockey as well as the traditional British sports played throughout the seasons like tennis, cricket, football and netball.
Buckswood School boasts a two storey stand-alone Art block that offers every scholar the time and space to explore and excel in the world of Art and Design.
In the Junior school they offer the chance to embark on Theatre studies. The key focus of this course is the opportunity to learn both the practical and theoretical side of the stage to uncover the secret of shining in the spotlight.
Form 2 and form 4 GCSE Drama students travelled to London to take part in a drama workshop at Pineapple Studios. The workshop was led by professional actor Hugh Ross.
Woodwind instruments makes music department different from any other, with roots back to Scotland, Buckswood celebrates the success of our pipe band in events such as Burns night. They teach: Bagpipes, Saxophone, Clarinet & Recorder. At Buckswood they encourage students to practice weekly and perform in public. They teach: Classical, Musical Theatre & Rock & Pop.
