Welcome to Land of Learning Primary School. We have been established since 2007 as a Nursery to cater for the needs of young Muslim children. Following on from the success of the Nursery and the growing demand for a high quality Primary Education within an Islamic context, Land of Learning Primary School was formed in 2010 with just 25 children. With the support of the parents and wider community the school is flourishing.Land of Learning Primary School is a fully Independent Primary School which caters for children aged 4 to 11 years old. The school is DfE registered, follows the National Curriculum and alongside this it offers lessons in Islamic Studies and Arabic. We are supported by highly skilled staff with a wealth of teaching experience and a passion for education along with dedicated and supportive parents. Together we have established a cohesive team and a determination to prepare our children for this life as citizens of our society. Our high standards and academic success is a testament to the dedicated management and school team we have.
Nursery

Children are supported in various ways; by good role modelling, interaction, scaffolding, observation and assessment. We also focus on working one to one and setting up meaningful activities to support children’s learning

We want everyone connected with Nursery and school to feel safe, secure, valued and of equal worth. They create this environment by: Providing challenge for all pupils, Promoting equality through curriculum planning, Ensuring planning is differentiated in order to provide full access for all pupils; Providing specialised resources for pupils with disabilities; Creating a positive classroom ethos that is welcoming for all; Ensuring pupils feel valued and have individual targets
Reception F2
The Early Years Foundation Stage – EYFS is delivered in our setting. The curriculum is planned and structured to ensure children are kept healthy, safe and provided with opportunities to gain the knowledge and skills to begin school. There are 4 guiding principles which we abide by in our setting.
Club and Activities
As part of Eco schools, year 4 were chosen to take part in a new learning initiative called ‘Pollination’. The focus of the project is to encourage children to learn more about pollinators, their environment and how they can make an impact to the environment too.
Arts & Crafts
Art Club sparked students’ creativity by exploring two-dimensional and three-dimensional art, photography, and graphic design. Students were exposed to different forms of art and had the opportunity to create and share their own designs.
Explorers Club
Explorers Club was all about using our senses to broaden our imaginative skills and go into the depths of our explorative mind. No idea is too crazy and no imagination is too dull! We worked as a team to support each other and build ideas to create amazing works of art.
Sports & Fitness
Sports & Fitness plays a vital part in our well-being and looking after ourselves to ensure we are fit and healthy. Keeping fit and healthy is very important at Land of Learning and this club helped our children to look at improving their fitness and facilitating different ways that they can achieve their goals. They had a chance to do circuit training, shuttle runs and races to improve their fitness.
