Facilities

  • At Rochester Independent College they take Sport provision very seriously and aim to provide students with an enriching experience developing sporting skills and promoting fitness for all.
  • In the Lower School they aspire to champion sporting activities which are not confined by out-dated school traditions. As well as football, rugby, basketball and netball they also think outside the box; activities such as climbing, shooting, horse-riding, dodgeball and martial arts all ensure that students experience activities which they may not have previously considered.
  • They have close ties and connections with local teams and clubs, meaning that they are able to enjoy top of the range facilities. Onsite, fully equipped gym and sports court enable students to stretch their legs and keep fit at lunch times and break times; these facilities are also available after school should students wish to exercise before going home to get on with their homework.
