Facilities

Pre-School
In pre-school, they are passionate about offering our young learners the opportunity to learn through play and explorations, which builds confidence and curiosity about the world around them. Each morning activities are planned around key areas of the curriculum. The afternoon’s activities are then tailored around ‘in the moment planning’; watching how children are playing and bringing in learning naturally to engage each child. Activities throughout the Nursery and Pre-School ensure children make maximum progress in all seven areas of learning and development within the EYFS curriculum: Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Communication and Language, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the world, Expressive arts and design.

Features

Things to note

Outside of the Classroom
The impressive extra-curricular programme is a big part of every pupil’s time at school. They encourage all children to actively take part in the additional activities. So whether it's taking part in gardening club, learning to play an instrument or joining the annual residential trip away, time spent away from desks is designed to build resilience and confidence. In addition to the extra-curricular programme the school is also incredibly engaged with the local communities charities and causes. Mansfield Woodhouse is an incredibly well-knit community and we are proud to have made a continuous contribution to it since being established in the community. As part of your child's time with us they will also be involved in our charity work, which includes fundraising and volunteering

Swimming
Here at Saville House School, they are lucky enough to have the Rebecca Adlington Swimming Centre local to us. The Reception, KS1 and KS2 students benefit from weekly swimming lessons.
